A Guide to
How Long to Book

Not sure how long to book? Here is how to think about it.
Add tidy-up time — and extra time on your first visit — to your usual washing time.

How long should I book?

The most common booking duration among our guests is 1 to 2 hours.

  • 1.5 hours is our top recommendation
  • If it is your first visit, around 2 hours is reassuring
  • For a relaxed visit, we suggest booking at least 1 hour

A guide to each length

Choose the length that suits how you like to wash.

30 min
Quite tight

For a quick, simple wash or for guests who are used to the facility.

1 hour
A shorter visit

Enough for a simple wash. If you would like more breathing room, we suggest 1.5 hours.

1.5 hours
Our top recommendation

A good balance — enough time to set up, wash and tidy up without rushing.

2 hours
Recommended for your first visit

With time to get familiar with the equipment and how things work, around 2 hours is reassuring for a first visit. It also suits guests who like to take their time.

You can book for more than 2 hours

There is no maximum length within our opening hours. As long as the slot is free, you can book the time you need in 30-minute increments. Some guests book 3 hours, 5 hours or more.

For your first visit, we recommend around 2 hours

If it is your first time, allow time to get familiar with the layout and how things work.

Our advice for first-timers

On your first visit, things may take a little longer while you get familiar with the layout and equipment.
Around 2 hours gives you more room to set up, wash, and tidy up without rushing.

  • If it is your first time, give yourself a little extra room.
  • If you are unsure how to use anything, take a look at the User Guide and the equipment pages.

How to work it out

We suggest choosing a length with a little room to spare — not just the washing itself, but setting up and tidying away too.

So the next guest can enjoy it too

At 1on1, each bay is reserved for one booking at a time. To keep things pleasant for the next guest, we ask for your help in finishing everything, including tidying up, within your booked time.

Book with time to spare and enjoy your visit.

If it is your first visit, book a little longer. Plan ahead.
