Wash Procedure

The right washing order

Work top to bottom, rinsing sand and dust off the whole body with high-pressure water. This is the most important step before you touch the paint with a sponge.

Top to bottom

Pressure washer / reel hose

High pressure lifts sand, mud and dust off the body. Keep about 30–40 cm away.View instructions →

Clean the dirtiest areas with the dedicated wheel brush. Always do this before washing the body so the grime does not transfer.

Undercarriage washer

High-pressure water thoroughly removes mud and road salt.View instructions →

Work top down with foamed car shampoo: roof → hood → side panels → bumpers. Wipe gently in straight lines.

Foam gun

Spray foam evenly over the body to lift the dirt. The foam cushions the paint against scratches.View instructions →

Leftover shampoo can cause spots. Rinse thoroughly from the top with plenty of water. For a thorough rinse, wash and rinse one panel at a time.

Pressure washer / reel hose

Rinse from the top with the pressure washer to remove every trace of shampoo.View instructions →

Blot the water instead of rubbing. Rubbing can cause fine scratches. It is important to finish quickly with a large microfiber towel.

Air compressor

Use compressed air to blow water out of door gaps, behind mirrors and other spots a cloth cannot reach.View instructions →

Pro Tip Avoid direct sunlight and wash on a cloudy day or in the shade. In direct sunlight, water and shampoo dry quickly and can cause water spots and stubborn residue.
